What type of service are you?: I am a private clinic - with experienced NHS and private practitioners - Wings Counselling, Psychotherapy and Wellbeing Centre 

Where is your service based?: My service is based in Romsey Hamshire   

Who do you care for (i.e. age limits)?: All

What is your catchment area?: catchments can include Southampton, Winchester, ASndover, Basingstoke Salisbury and the New Forest. I also provide online and telephone counselling and again this will be set up by end Aug on my websitenbsp;

How to get a referral?: At present through contacting me on my mobile 07946400257 By end of August this can also be through Wings website directly 

If self referral what is the process?:     Self referral will also be through the same process. I have cards and leaflets with my details 

If GP/ Diabetes team referral who should be asked for?:  For GP . Team referral / please again contact me on mobile and I would be happy to talk through referral route and the best way to work with each client 

What approach and therapies are offered?: Approach and therapies are per NICE Guidelines for Eating Disorders but as Diabetes and EatingDisorders as a combination is more complex . individual therapy - usually CBT -E ; Or Cognitive Analytical therapy to formulate the complex issue for the client and Team and also to help the client understand and through tghis understanding, motivate himself or herself to work for change and self care.

I am a healthcare profession and accredited Cognitive Analytical Therapist with over 20 year experience in the NHS and private work i also offer CBT. ( Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and IPT (Interpersonal Therapy) Through working both within a Renal unit and also an Eating Disorders service Ihave developed experience to work with this very complex group of people andIdo this with good outcomes. My main focus is thedevelopment of a relationship with each client through very a very bpoundaried psychological framework which enable the client to feel safe and through this to take steps to change what is a self harming life style when an eating disorder runs alongside diabetes.
