I work for a non profit production company, CTVC and I’m a good friend of Jacqs. For several years Jacqs and I have discussed the idea of making a documentary which highlights the many issues young adults face when diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It would hope to address the feelings of isolation, increased awareness of body image, guilt and an NHS system that can sometimes forget the needs and fears of a young adult. I am looking to chat to as many people as possible as part of my research. Talking to me would NOT be seen as a commitment to take part in a programme and everything would be totally confidential.
